    Opinion on 71 S

    Going to look at this car today. Looks very nice. One repaint in original Albert Blau.

    It was repaired in the front of the front pan due to battery leak/rust. But as I can see it was not done 100% correctly.

    Great model in my totally biased opinion.

    Yes, I agree the lower front pan area looks dodgy for sure. I wonder what else you will find when you look closely. Let us know how it goes.

    How cheap was it?
    Did you snap any additional photos, and would you be willing to share the VIN for record keeping on the site?

    I will keep you posted,. The owner will put it up for sale soon. He seems to be a bit of an odd ball. The car has newly restored engine, but body is very tired, imo. Drives well, but due for some welding.

    I just wanted to buy it to drive it some months and then sell it, but it was not quite the steal I thought it was.
