    Body plug inside front fender

When opening the passenger side door, I looked inside the front fender and found an oem round cutout which takes a plastic plug. I have looked at the PET and they do not list it. This is for a 1973 911. I looked at my 70 911 and the plugs are on that car.

Does anyone know the correct mm size and perhaps where I can purchase these?

    Thanks,

    John

I've got the same hole on my '73 and haven't been able to find the right blog either.

I think the hole you refer to is for the power window harness bulkhead plug. Measure the hole and I think you'll find it the same size as other plugged holes, possibly the front bumper access plugs in the front bulkhead or maybe the plug in the bottom of the rocker panel.

btw,,, Ed,, I read about the killer car you built and it came out great. Lots of luck?

I'll check the size. The plug is present on my 70 911, so it leads me to believe that the 79 911 should have them also.

Thank you for the help. I see the part now on the PET. It was hard to find and appreciate people jumping in to help out.

    Bringing back an old thread.

Has anyone ever found a source for this plug? I believe the "#19" in the PET referenced earlier is 999 703 031 40 which is incorrect. I've looked and looked but haven't been able to find the correct plug. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who's had more success.
