    Solex fuel line clamp tool

    Hi

I looking for a source for a clamp tool to making the fuel line in the Solex carbs.
Is there any webshop I can buy the tools and the "hat"

Is this the original look of the carbs?

Cohline hose ferrules of that particular size are NLA; replacement Cohline ferrules have different proportions.

Those look right to me except the OEM finish of the ferrules was silver; Solexes sported both silver and yellow chromated finished for the steel bits...at least for those not black oxide finished, or painted. However, I have found all ferrules to be silver in my work. The ferrules were not crimped except at the three connections with the fuel line running across the cross member between the shock towers.

Fuel bowl vent line to bottom plate (aluminum) of air cleaner did not use ferrules.

I agree. I also believe the vent line was clear plastic.

I wanted to say vent line was clear but backed away from it before posting...wasn't ABSOLUTELY positive but when I build a set of Solexes I do put the clear vent lines on them.

I'll add that the throttle adjusting turnbuckles are silver but the springs are typically yellow.
