    NOS Steel Heat Exchanger ?

Can anyone say with any certainty from the photos supplied that this might have been a factory made one or ? as the tag has came off. Any ideal what years this one would have been made for. It's a thin flanged with an open end bung it never had a cap welded in it. I'm thinking early MFI 911's as the later LWB 911's would have had more shrouding around the open exhaust pipes.

Thanks in advance for your help

That one is a repop made back in the 80s. They were sold through many of the aftermarket suppliers, back in the day.

Jim is spot on,,,besides the wrinkled stampings, lack of hot air box, the OEM's had a raised gasket seat at each flange.
