What Era Is This Fuel Tank From ?

Normal looking early tank from the top side has a dated 12/72 sending unit that could or not be original.

Now the backside has 3 openings in the center of the tank like 69-73 but different 1 only threaded for supply a small tube center for vent I guess the third larger tube I will guess is return.

But the dam thing has a brass Benzin plug that I thought was only used on 74 and later 911 gas tanks.

I thought you would know & answer thanks Jim. So would this be a half year only gas tank?
I thought 74 911 gas tanks started with the space saver spare tire (smaller tire area on tank) also started with the bottom drain plug. That what was throwing me off.

Yes, it is a "half year" only tank and only for 911Ts. 74 and later tanks have approximately 5 gals more capacity, but you already knew that.

The bottom plug houses the fuel strainer sock in the swirl pot. The large hole on the rear is the drain plug. The other two are supply and return.
