I certainly have a fondness for the 914 prototypes. Four, at least, still exist. The two eights, a 914/6 and a 914/6 sportomatic. I'm not sure how many were built, but the sportomatic was numbered 120.
Not as special as the 914/8, but some really neat unresolved details.

Isn't that Alois Ruf in the second photo down?
Yes that is Alois getting the full nickel tour from owner Don. Alois brought over his 300 037 Aga Blue 901 from Germany to show at the same event- Hershey.
Don's car is the red prototype "Barbarossa" #13 327.
I know of these prototypes, are there others known?

Yes, I just happened to be looking at the car when Mr. Ruf came over and started talking to the owner about some of the unique details, a very interesting conversation to say the least. I have some pictures of Mr. Ruf's Aga Blue 901 too, but off topic for this thread.
