1968 911s - Value. Looking to sell.
Trying to get a value on my 68 911s as I am interested to sell. Two previous Cdn owners. Needs door cards, headrests and the OEM steering wheel. Purchased it sight unseen. Changed the fluids, new plugs, oil & filter, fluids, new battery. Freed up the calipers & took it for a 100km round trip drive without issues. Pulls nice, didn't see any smoke. Floors are good. Rockers are solid. Previous repaint. Everything works. Except the clock. I've ordered a COA as I'm getting conflicting stories on the rear spoiler. Some say it never came with it, others, it was an option. Don't understand the tan interior with the grey carpets, but what do I know.:confused: VIN is 11801XX so a RoW car. Carbs are Zenith 40 ITN. (Thank-you to the folks who helped me when I first got it) I spoke to the PO at length after I took down every part & VIN # I could find. Confirmed it was used sparingly. He purchased the car with the non-OEM steering wheel & lost the headrests. Doesn't recall any induction issues, so I suspect the carbs were changed by the 1st owner. I have clear title. Had some folks in the EU & UK offer me some crazy numbers, but find it hard to believe. Would appreciate the groups help. I'm located in Toronto.
If you read my profile, I am a car dealer in Toronto. I do vintage Mercedes, Lancia's, Alfa's, race-cars etc. I admit I know absolutely nothing about Porsche. Wanted everyone to know that. It's also listed in my profile.
Plumber, if you want to see it, better call me in the next few days as I'm putting it away for the winter alongside your B, which is now mine :D
