I just know that 720 L were built in 1967/8.

Barth & Busing's Porsche book shows a total of 1,479 L models built in '68, none in '67. Sporto production numbers aren't listed seperately anywhere I've found, but the engine numbers are 3380001-3380463 USA and 3180001-3180347 ROW. That would indicate 810 L Sportomatics produced... hopefully someone that knows for sure can confirm or correct that.

I 'm surprised because i read only 720L produced in 68.
My car is matching number and built in 1967 (MY1968).
It was delivered on September 1967 in Bordeaux
Do you know where i can get these informations?

I have 720 ROW 911L and 540 US 911L's produced. That comes to 1260 total for 68 911L. My 68 911L was born on December 13, 1967. And it is a ROW Sportomatic Sunroof. Chris
