Those rims are Minilite Sports, which were an aftermarket wheel made in England. They were available in magnesium or aluminum, but I don't think many mags are still on the road. The standard Minilites have 'ribs' that extend right into the lug/hub area, whereas the Sport has the center 'dished' area and shorter ribs.
I would say they are period correct, but I have a set too, so I am biased! I'm not sure when this style first came on the scene but I have seen them in photos from the late '60s at least.
I don't usually like chrome on wheels, preferring paint or polish, but I think this looks pretty damn cool!
