Great to be on a similar trajectory at the same time Steve, and glad to make your aquaintance. Oregon is set up for Porsche restoration. I'd be more than happy to come up and see your progress once you get going strong. Just speaking with the people at Rothsport on the phone made me want to come visit. The restoration process is big for me and I look forward to the process - of course that's easy to say from my computer... :)
Here we go!!!! Cheers and Happy New Year one last time ;) and congrats on a big adventure secured.

Off to media blast
Over the summer the Rothsport guys & I did the dis-assembly on 'The Shed" car. I heated, scraped and pulled that wonderful black gunk from inside the car.
Everything came apart easily and there is very little rust anywhere. That Montana climate was pretty easy on it.
Today I dropped the car off at the media blaster so we'll see what we've really got to work with next week.

Hey Steve -
Wow - down to the tub! That's inspiring!!! Glad to hear you have little rust. The idea of a car coming from the blaster nice and clean is very appealing.
Did the car have a time in green? looks like some green showing in the tail lamp bucket, elsewhere. Slate grey will sure be nice - did you find any of that?
Thanks for the update! cheers -
