No mystery, only two Constantinidis and one gold corvette. Demetrios a.k.a Steve is a fellow Alfetta punter in Sc and a pretty good steerer. His son James has run a 105 before going over to work in the USA, which is where they bought and had the corvette prepped. James and the car are now in Sydney and the car is logged Sc. James is a demon driver, but unfortunately does not get to drive over here too often - pretty sure he was hustling the Sc Carreras at the Eastern Creek enduro last year.

He was hustling the carreras yesterday, I think he had a 2nd and 3rd behind Geoff Morgan. The car handled and was extremely fast in a straight line...either the engine is a work of art or the gearing is good, but he drove past David and Geoff on the straight with ease... then couldn't pull it up at turn 1.
I spoke with a fellow about the engine and he thought it sounded like a big block... and appreciably different to a gt350 Mustang also running yesterday.
I'll defer to his superior knowledge, but don't want to take away from the car or the driver... it was a joy to watch... and that sound! Almost as nice as the 911's!
Some pics of the overtake...
The corvette dumped its oil during race 3 and dnf'd. It's capacity is listed as 5700 so small block chev.
Yea its a 350 Chevy. Having problems with blowing rocker cover gaskets, but James got into the 1:47's in the last race I think.

James pointed that out to me when I showed him this thread over the weekend.
