I believe those are JP wheels from Sweden. Very cool
Hello.
Yes, that is correct. The wheels are Swedish JP, usually seen on Volvos in 5,5"x14. What make this set special are the Porschepattern and the unique size: 6,5"x 15 and 8,5"x15.
Here is the history in a short version:
The car started its life as an 912 -65, #917 made from Karmann factory. It rusted in the late 60´s and was welded up and renovated in the early 70´s with a 6 cyl engine, rollcage, RSR widened, LWB and painted orange with stripes. It was made to become a rally car, but that never happend. It changed owner in the early 80´s and was renovated again to what it looks like today, except from some small details. The engine was also built at that time. I am now the 7:th owner from new.

They may well be Dave, but they sure are similar.
Just a 912, but sometimes, they are just more relaxing to drive than a 911 ;-)
(just rationalizing the fact that my 911 has been at the shop for 6 months now)
Drool!!! That is a great photograph and an outstanding 912. Of course I am a bit biased when it comes to appreciation of 912's.
Hello to All! Here is my '72 S, an Italian market car. Was a rust free daily driver up till 2004 when I aquired it in Napoli, but full of little dings and scratches due to Italian easy style of driving/parking (I like them so it's not a negative comment just a fact), leaking oil, missing S front bumper and trim, with all its parts tired a lot. Now it's such, restored inside-out by me & my mechanic fellows. Just headliner and sunvisors with slight patina left untouched. Equipped now with genuine sport seat on driver side only (was my idea, I like so), w/black interior but both front seats with black/white pepita cloth insert, rare 370(!) mm Momo Prototipo and yellow French-market headlight glasses. Engine fully rebuilt. 7" rears are just a play with its look/stance, of course, it's got the 6"-ers, tooAttachment 207745Attachment 207746.

Here are a few pic's of my 71T coupe which went thru a total strip and repaint last winter. I just had the original motor reinstalled a few weeks ago and plan to sell it this Spring so I can focus on restoring my 72T targa. Car is in Munich Germany if anyone is interested.
So many cool cars...
