Daren or anyone, do u know what connections were used for the oil line hookup. Straight, 90* fitting or banjo w/hollow bolt? And did the oil hoses always come into the front trunk thru the top of the inner fender? Gordon

Costings will be in the new year.
Thanks, interesting bolts
Kudos to all active members of the forum and on this thread as I can already see there is a wealth of knowledge here!
I guess these things are seldom straight forward and it has taken a while but pleased to report that this project is full steam ahead and Paul and I will soon be offering what we believe is a truly authentic reproduction of the 2.8RSR and 914/6GT oil cooler.
To be certain the modelling of Paul's NOS oil cooler was accurate 3D printed prototype were produced and the results are pretty damn good........castings of the end tanks and brackets have now been commissioned, the cores ordered and we hope fabrication will commence in the next couple of months :)
As with the 3.0 coolers these will come with the correct pressure relief valve and be alocrom coated and a bolt on ready to go product.
Here's progress to date.....
