Found this on a car I just bought - think I'll leave it.
Taken by Richard Griffiths at Phillip Island after I'd driven the car (RHD, Australian delivered 1968 911L) 800 miles the scenic way, from Sydney.
I really like it Rich - it's very Tilton-esque
I saw this car this past Sat. It was built by Zuffenhaus for the Targa Newfoundland. It had a few interesting features including a hinged rear window to allow access to tools and spares and this quick release roof rack.
Bob, you're correct. Real 'R' door handles are smooth on the inside (see attached pics).
The last two real 911R's that I have seen in person both had repro handles as they tend to break. Note that the gasket in the first image is not correct for a 911R (mine is a 911T).
