Thanks TRE Dave for the information.
Thanks Dave. You are a wealth of information.

Any updates on this car?
Was so strange to see this car in the jungle.
Manu:
The information that you have is incorrect. I used to be in the same races as 911 360 0636 in England, when the car was usually driven, (very well!), by Josh Sadler of Autofarm. The car was never crashed and I was present when the car was sold to Siggi Brunn. Definitely NOT this car!
Car #31 at Sears Point in July, 1979, was 911 460 9048. Car today alive and well in California, same ownership for fourteen years.
For what it's worth, this looks very much a "Build up" RSR, not an original factory built RSR.

I agree with John on this
RSR 0636 is alive and well in south africa at present - restored in the 1973 le mans livery
It was just an assumption
Where is this site in Switzerland?
As of march 2009, the site will now be definitely cleaned and gone in a few months.
The site owner refused to meet environmental standards for years and the local government ordered a final clear out.
Site is in Kaufdorf, a town near Bern. Apparently the biggest scrapyard in Europe, but cant confirm assessment.
