Holy WTF. Vin is for a 72 Squareback. Squarebacks have a 94.5" wheelbase. No wonder the wheels look like the are pushed to the ends of the wheel arches! I wonder how those D90's are gonna fit on 4 lug vw hubs?
I bet it was a fun project to build for someone with too much time on their hands!

Somebody may potentially come across this in the last few minutes of the auction, get distracted looking at the 2000(!!!) pictures and pull the trigger without due diligence. Who else suspects this is the strategy?

VWs of the 1960s had a VIN stamped primarily on the center channel behind the front seats, which is the VIN on the title of this car.
