When I cleaned the windshield I lost all the other dust too. Have to bump out that soft dent.
Very nice!! Yup, that's the only Porsche dealer in Maine. Now called Morong at the same address. Tuff Coat-Dinol was very popular back in the 70's, especially in Maine with road salt application in winter. Unlike Ziebart where holes were drilled in body work, Tuff Coat was just sprayed on the undercarriage.
Thanks for sharing your find.
Great story and solid starting point for enjoyment.
How did the interior hold up?
Surface rust in driver footwell, but really very light. Passenger side perfect. Carpets in good shape except driver floor mat is pretty beat up. Couple of slight cracks starting on side of passenger seat. The seemingly standard dashboard crack, and then a few whitish spots, that disappear with armorial, but when it dries there is still some white in the bottom of the depressions that make up the surface pattern of the vinyl. I think it's vinyl not leather because where it is starting to crack on side of pasenger seat I see fabric underneath. Does vinyl sound right?
Looks like it got more than a windshield wash...good for you...your car, your way...enjoy it!

Very Nice Find!
These finds not driven for many years are puzzling when looking from the outside. 10 or 12 years ago a good friend led me to my 71 Targa, parked under cover for 16 years. Original owner, car had just had a fresh engine rebuild with some nice upgrades. The car rolled down his driveway backed into a small tree in his yard and put about a half a softball sized dent into the center rear of the car. He put it in the garage with cover on it and never drove it again, he said it just killed his spirit and had no interest in it any more.
We look at these things and think these things are crazy, individual lives and circumstances.
Great find, enjoy your find!
