Does anyone know whether the date code on the bottom of an aluminum trailing arm is listed as 'month - day - year', or 'day - month - year'? Examples: 11 - 7 - 73,
8 - 11 - 75.

Early homologation papers filed by Porsche with the FIA for the RS were dated as '27.10.72, which is obviously day.month.year. The question is did they use this format for the trailing arms? I think Europeans generally use this format, which is different from the US...month.day.year. Check your impact bumper cars to see what you find. Thanks.
Hey Gib you're right, we Europeans use day, month, year, it's only you guys over there who keep getting it the wrong way round!:D
can' t top that one :D
