a bump for paulC, and a family story for me.
in 1969, my dad bought a new car just down the road in Long Beach, CA at Rickett's.
he took me and two brother's there when I was young. My brother has the car today.
this building was glass windows with a few colorful Porsche inside...and some VWs across the street.
the post with brackets on the roof had a large VW sign, in the shape of a circle, mounted up top.
it didn't last long as a dealership.
