Difficult to say for sure from that picture but the sliders look like later (mid '70's) Recaro versions & the base looks like aftermarket or home-made.
I have heard of another identical base from a member, that makes 3 instances I know of. The bases must have been mass or semi-mass produced. It has angle iron across the front. Thanks so much for the replies Andy and Tom.
I also have a base (or maybe a pair) with angle iron across the front. They were in a shop we bought out. I tossed them aside not knowing what they were, but not wanting to dump them just yet either.
