Xavier. Bravo!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful car, provenance and comes with its own fresh bug splatters. Drive her like you stole her.
Hi Xavier
Are you living in France? If yes, how do you manage to register the car for a drive in the US? I am also interested in buying a Porsche there and drive around before returning but it seems quite difficult to register the car as a foreigner. Any tricks?
Thanks and have fun with your car
Rick
Hi Xavier
Thanks for your answer. I cannot send you a PM (I think I haven't enough posts) but you could send me a mail to zhivago@gmx.ch.
Thanks
Rick
De-racing a bit Ruby or make it a streetable version (either way works) is in progress and soon complete.
Install a RS lightweight carpet in the cockpit
Install a perlon headliner
Re localise the extinguisher
Change the FIA bucket seats to more period correct and comfy ones (pepita yummy)
replace the ATL fuel cell by a 85L tank
install 2 fuel pump (one primary, one backup) - remember I'll do a 3000 miles roadtrip
Install wipers and windshield puk tank
Replace the exhaust headers and install a Dansk steel peanut shooter
Remaining is the external lighting system all around.
Ruby is now registered in the USA, and am about to get her insured.
