Not sure I catch your drift Frank. I was just saying that the amount of cosmoline a customer might see depended on how well the dealer cleaned the cosmoline off the components. And in the case of the fan, the hue might change as a consequence. The surface finish on the fan is much rougher than I've seen on some over-restored versions (which look gorgeous in their own way).
