Ok Curt So you are getting close to guessing my new too me flatsix. I can't for the life of me wonder why you picked the Covair first! Although there is a guy here in town that has a Covair that has a small block Chevy in the backseat with Yenko stickers all over it. Says he purchessed it from Yenko that way! It looks like a clean install to me.
Anyway, back to your post. Just spoke to our Honda Rep last friday. It seems that there are not as many orders for the new Goldwing with the air bags that Honda thought there would be. I can't figure out why nobody wants a airbag on their motorcycle;) .

That's what I can't figure out. Unless there is a seat belt or some sort of restraint to keep your butt in the seat, what good is an airbag going to do as you sail over the handlebars or 'slide into homeplate'.
So it's a 2-wheel flat 6? ..... I know nothing about bikes, but I guess I know why Cinder won't be tagging along on this trip!
Ya see that crack in the middle of the air bag? you plant your face and kiss hers goodbye! Nobody can figure why Honda is giving this a try. Most of us hard core riders are worried. Can you think what the Feds are going to do with this. If one bike has it then all bikes should have one. The bast***** are always trying to protect us from ourselfs. Just let me buy a new car with only a seatbelt and a carb and bloody well keep the onboard computer!
And no Cinder isn't to keen on the new ride. She is getting left behind. Alot.

At least Honda has it right from a design view.
