Hi Guys,
After years of searching for my matching engine with no luck, I decided to do something about it. I just created a "Tinder" (Match maker machine) for Porsche engines. We put it up yesterday, but I can see that it is growing really fast. Last guy just put 15 engines in :). And we have engines from all around the world. Anyway... there is for sure still a lot of things that we will fix so that it will work better for us all, but we will develop it as good as we can. Anyway you are free to try your luck:

Great initiative Omar! Would it be possible to extend to find the transmission as well as many of us (like myself) also in need to find the original engine and transmission.

Thanks for the feedback. 3 persons have asked for the same. We will add that in few days. We just have to see that this works first and it looks like its working well based on the large amounts of engines coming in to the system. Some small fixing and we will "copy" it for gearboxes as well. I really feel that I solved a problem here for many of us classic Porsche lovers :).

Just joined the forum after having had the car for years, love the idea of the lost and found thread. I have a complete 901/01 engine, number 901158, which I believe to be from a '65, but I'm no expert, and a '68T 901/03 with engine number 2081248, in case anyone is looking to reunite them with their original chassis.
Cheers,
