Me and the kids.......
This will be an interesting thread. John, I somehow had you pegged as an older guy. My bad!
Here I am with my Great Dane Libby
With my wife "Bobbie" yes, we have the same first name and Libby.
I'll play. Here is a pic of me, in front of my garage. I'm usually not allowed out, so I appear slightly dazed and confused.
This is me, "Ghost Chaser," in my '71 T I call GoGo Girl. :)
Easier done then said Raj........ stuck it is ...... good idea
- Me in the Chevelle....... ;)
- Me with Great Niece Kelsey........ :)
Running with open pipes and ear plugs at first light, heading due west on Route 17 on our way up to Watkins Glen .
Good exhaust color on the pipes...12:1 and race fuel.
Early morning on race day with our eldest son (in mechanic's suit) at Lime Rock Park at the Vintage Fall Festival ... 18 years ago today!
Fiddling with my project 71S up at Newton's place last winter.
The Boss...
Here is a pic of me in the white, Dave Conklin (Cornpanzer) in the Koni shirt, and Jared (Hotrodjrod) in the red shirt after putting the glass in my car.
Me and my son Alex with the Speedster, Me , Me and my Buddy Danny, over for a visit, his is the Viper green 911.
Taking a needed break while helping run a DE for a local Lotus Group...sore feet and not much personal track time
Here I am, in the garage, with Vicky our great dane, photographed by a friend while discovering the joys of the Targa :

I will use this as a placeholder for an appropriate pic w/ S content.
Last May, at Sea Ranch, CA .... beautiful sonoma coast, before driving back to NY
Hanging out in Monterey, and had to take a shot next to my dream machine. Since It looks like it's owned by Pelican Parts and I've given them a kidney to date, I figure they owe me a photo, ha ha. Hopefully I can get a pic with the Great Pumpkin 69S here when it gets on the road.... any day now.
Still tracking together after all these years.
What a can of worms we've opened...........figuratively & literally. You realize this is going to do a lot of damage to a lot of computer monitors.
Yours truly (captured in a rare pose with closed mouth,) and Ruprecht. Don't have one photo with both of us in it.

with the Texan-Mexican connection......
....and with the California connection
great idea
couldn't bring myself to pull a randy webb
First 2 are with my grandson, third as taken by my youngest, last taken by Aaron on the Extraterrestrial Highway in NV on the way home from Treffen '08.
Here I am with Kleine, the day I picked her up. Second pic I'm with the better half at Denali National Forest.
From the Monterey Historics
This is great. Here's me with my '69 6.3 liter Mercedes I ran in the Coker Tire rally last year. I sold the car when I re-entered the world of SWB 911 ownership a year ago, and I'll be running the Porsche this year. The 6.3 was a barrel of fun with tire-chirping upshifts at anything over half throttle!
What a wonderful car that is / was. The identical car in non-metallic shoe-leather brown with Bomboo interior was my first new Mercedes.........Alas, it was also my daily driver and I lived in Chicago at the time. The combination of Illinois winter and the salt they used to clear the roads had the damned thing rusting out from under me in less than two years.
Really liked that machine.
JZG
Great shots Bob. There's magic with the grandson!
This is a photo saved from the wreckage of my burned out house some years ago. Working myassoff- White oak cabinets for a guy's chess set collection (I know!). Mid '70's I guess- Harvard Square, rockin' garage bands, making t-shirts, girls (girls, girls), 2 bikes, 3 BMW 2002s, '64 Land cruiser, Chevy van... sheesh.
No pix that I could find with the 911 just my R75... But I am wearing my 917 T-shirt. Then me with my mouth open. Hard to get a shot of me with my mouth closed.
Raj, where are you!
I'm having a hard time posting a picture of myself... I'm sure others are too.. Best I could do. Bob
This is a great idea. Here's me with the family in my old car and user name (an Austin Healey replica with a full Mustang 302 powertrain) - this picture was taken the weekend it was shipped to it's new owner. Me, my wife Angie, my daughters Miriam and Callia and our newfoundlander Gulliver (them a puppy) is hiding in the back.
Then our latest addition Kaden - since he's not in the earlier picture.
And finally a picture of Callia with my car the day I got it back from getting the stripes done - I think she might love my car almost as much as I do :D

Great family group Raj. Beautiful. Great names too.
Sorry to hear that Marley's not feeling well. All the best.
Here's a fun little photo diary. This was my attempt to get my car done in time for Treffen. Needless to say, it didn't quite happen. The last photo is of me with the loaner car from Brooke...
Sunday with Scott from Automobile Associates (who just finished Steve Harris's stunning 356 Roaster for the show), our new friend Joe, Damon of Series 900 (who brought lots of amber engine tin and shrouds- T/R, ST, RSR, 3.6 conversion pieces...), our new friend Mark (of vintage steering wheel fame), Phil Bagley of Klubsport restorations (who had to have my 1st issue Momo #1 wheel for the second Toad Hall car), and some reprobate Danish-American (who was trying to pawn off a bunch o' junk onto the unsuspecting public).

Here is a family portrait. Starting fromt he far end is:

Then a pic of my two boys... the older one is starting quarterback tomorrow night for his varsity football team (he's a sophomore).

I see Raj has been visiting 914World with his new purchase. :D
Here's me hamming with Ricky Skaggs at Paul Reed Smith's house...
Scott, did we ever find any beer after driving half way up the Florida coast?:D Of course our ever resourceful Chapter Meister walked across the parking lot of the motel and bought beer at the Shell gas station.:o
Here's a little better shot of yours truely on a couple of really good car days. Picking up Patrick from the PO's family and the second in downtown Elkhart Lake with his first owner. Boy, was that fun.:)

Well, no flattering pics with my car yet. All of them are greasy, dirty, sweaty. ;):D
Most of the pics of this next sort are of the grumpy, "3 months to long on site" Michael. This one was one of the rare occasions of a job finished nearly problem free.
Hell, might as well post the dark side, heh heh.:D

I'm back with a beard now, again, as I am weathering another bad case of shingles, dont care to shave.
this time shingles hit the leg thigh wrapped around and up to the spine, its seriously putting me out of commish.
I guess I better post something to this rogue's gallery, too.

Very nice pictures Tom :)
Good idea to start this thread Raj!
Great pics, Tom.
I think you are in fine company regarding the "Geezer" category,...:)
Great thread, Raj... it's always good to put faces to names and promote community. Jens, did you separate cash from Bagley using any arcane Danish spells? I need one as I'm about to leave another car with him. :D Always put on sunscreen, and per Hitchhiker's Guide, travel with a towel. Funny, seems like most photos we have aren't with cars. Probably because we're in the car without a camera or shooting the car static; gotta remedy that. Here's my better half and I about to go sailing on Lake Michigan last week for my birthday. Perfect weather. Definately looking geezeresque though, despite regular sunscreen use.
Russ, Phil's a really good guy, so he got the good guy deal- 1/2 price. Best of all is that it completed an important car.
Great photo, great smiles!! :D :D
No doubt, Jens... Phil's a very good guy, have known him for years. Great shop, very conscientious crew that does fine work. So fine that one of my 356 engines has taken residency at KlubSport... so when an opportunity to rib him comes along I just gotta! :D:D
That wheel found the right home, the car was beautifully finished.
My son and me with my old 1991 928 GT (1 of 85 GT's) imported that year.

This is both of us at the Porsche Driving Experience at Barber Motorsports in Birmingham, Alabama. If you want your wife to really understand just how great a Porsche car can be, take her to this 2 day driving event, it is over the top. What could be better:confused::confused:, Hurley Haywood was her driving instructor for the 2 days, and taught her how to Heel and Toe, as well as took her for hot laps in a GT3 at full speed on the last day:cool::cool::D

Hi Rob,
Good to see you (literally) again. Don't be such a stranger around here. Your input and observations are always appreciated.:)
I thought this is a good way to make my first post here at the 911S board. I don't have a 911S, just a 71 911T, and I hope this is OK.

Engelbert
Welcome Engelbert. The green car has a terrific stance. What are those headlights? Stickers?
Picture of Markus Blaszak my father and myself on a cold Kingston, Ontario morning in March. We were finishing the markups for the jacking points, FIA cage mounts and oil line routing. The motor is awaiting the dyno at Steve Weiner's shop. For those who don't know Markus, he is well known in Canada for his work building Porsches for serious track and rally use.
The car is a narrow-body '72 built to 1971 FIA Group 4 regulations. I will be putting it to work on vintage track racing and tarmac rallies. The car is now painted and we are putting in the interior.
Without all of the amazing and selfless contributions from so many on this board it would not be possible to get it this far...so thank you....thank you ...thank you.
Andrew
Hello Brian.
I've been staying very very low key. Things are turning around again now slowly and maybe we'll hook up at an event in the near future. I look forward to it..
