Great, thank you.
George,
Give Chris my best when you talk to him.
Lack of updates do not mean I have been slacking.
I have ordered a sunroof delete panel from Chris at Fennlane, although I am a bit worried since he has not answered my e-mail sent after payment, and the panel has not arrived yet, a much too long delay for a delivery from the UK…
My body shop team has come to see the car. HUGE undertaking, but nothing that scares them. They are securing a Celette bench as I write this.
I have received 2 Koni front Struts (thanks Lars)
I have removed all the repair panels that were attached with sheetmetal screws, and loaded the shell on a trailer. I am driving across the country to have it dipped. It will come back completely stripped, de-rusted and with a first layer of protection, to allow the work to be done without flash rust settling in. The laws are so made here that I can drive no faster than 50mph with a trailer, so I am looking at 8 hours' driving, luckily without stress as I will have no one to overtake.
Cheering you on in Canada!
Keep up the great work and the updates!
Hi Jon, thanks!
Brings me to a question. Is the front corner of this trunk correct? Front closing panel has been changed and the corner piece is on the shelf, but I am not sure about how the gap to the fender widens. Is this correct?
Here are front body/fender attachement points from 71

1969 911E -- only 2500 made and the factory used the 65 and 66 solex cam in the engine. Kind of a special model; good luck with the build. Chris
