Just read Mark's latest 000 article on wood shift knobs. Nice piece and great photography as usual. If you have read it, you should be able to guess why I like it.

Thanks very much for the shout Mark. Though my contribution to 000 is more of a whisper, its very cool to see my name among others like Randy Leffingwell, Patrick Long, Dario Franchitti... it boggles my mind.
My sincere gratitude to Pete Stout and Alexander Palevsky for the opportunity.
BTW: The latest issue has some great 959 content that is not to be missed.
Well deserved kudos, Mark. I hereby petition Wikipedia to use a picture of Mark on the page defining the term "Anorak".
Right back at ya, Mark—with particular thanks for putting up with us (me) as we build this plane called 000 while flying it. Everywhere I go, people mention your Momo piece, and the new one on shift knobs is making some waves among colleagues here as well as a number of people at the factory last week.
As for that piece on the ultra-rare 959 Sport, it was, without question, the hardest article to finalize in 20 years of editing magazines. Nobody had much in the way of info, including the factory. A lot of info was wrong. But we eventually got there, thanks to a photo posted in Instagram…
Thanks a lot Pete. I'd also like to acknowledge some folks who helped me out with the really challenging research process:
Phil Bagley, Mark Cross, Manuel Campuzano and Kevin Jeanette... many thanks guys.
