I was lucky to see the preview last night. It's a really well done video and Freddie's passion for these cars comes out in spades.
And my car does a nude scene. ;)

Happy Friday to all you weekend racers out there. Rev it hard and fast but keep it safe.
When the car is dipped in the caustic tank the panels/chassis are given a +/- charge during the entire time the car is bathing. It will go through three different tank stages. The last is the rinse via 300PSI of water/sulfate pressure leaving a fine film of protection. Because I like being able to control the thickness of my two part PPG epoxy, I prefer to do my own spraying. When I transport the cars I only use an enclosed heated trailer.
TIP: I cut open the rockers so the chemicals can penetrate deep into the chassis. If you will not be replacing the rockers make a very straight and clean cut when opening. This will make the butt welds flat and smooth. In the photos below I used a plasma cutter since I will be replacing inner and outer rockers. Hope this helps and makes sense...go at it now!
^^^* it makes sense...;) thanks for the explanation.
Director has now released the video. I hope you like it as much we do here at the shop. The most fun I have had driving a Porsche!
