Interesting to see is that BB 3020 did have deco strips back in the days (nowadays it has wide tape).
The Toivonen car #116 app. had regular horn grills (and relatively big fog lights).

Hej Thomas...Yes, it's great to see my long-time heroes from back home beeing recognized again......and luckily some of our friendly "R"-and Early-S members have "retrieved" some good machinery from the old country as well...i.e Steven Child's "Scania-Vabis" rally -68TR comes to mind...
Is that you standing by the door with Bjorn sitting in the car?...and I assume you are the person who started the Great DDK-tread with those fantasic pic's?... Excellent!...
BTW... today, September 11 ( 911 ) is the 30:th aniversary of Ronnie Peterson's tragic accident....Keep the memories coming.../ Lasse...
Thomas, thanks!
The 911 was a rare bird at US rallies. Here's some scans from old prints of mine:
curt.is that buffum;on the side of car it says carrera safari;I know buffum always refered to the african safari ST car AS A CARRERA
That's Bruno Kreibach. Not sure if it is Buffum's old car. But why else put 'Safari' on it? You may be right.
I keep finding out more things about this car
buffum ran in the original cannon ball with the car,it was on the cover of car and driver 8/75;he completed but had transmission problems
the new york plates are interesting,as the cannon ball started from nyc!
don't know much about bruno, except he was ralleying in his 70ies

It was not me standing with Waldegard, I was little older. Here with my first Porsche 356 B 1600 S 1962 with Fuchs hub-caps, photo from 1970.
Thomas..aaah...a 356-Man as well...Very Cool...I looked the same... the hair,black turtle neck,captains jacket...like "scanned" from "A Hard Day's Night"-album cover...where are your "Playboy or (brown Mocka)Mantovani-shoes"?...
AA-plates for Stockholm(proper)...DN-skrapan?..Kungsholmen?..Gardet?...I bet you went out to "Skarpnack" as well, and the "night runs" out in Agesta/Lanna...you're much cooler than I was...my first was an "early"544(B-16) stuffed with the "mandatory" black Marchal Floodlights, of course...btw...#16 - Lasse Jonsson / Saab V4...same L.J as in Porsche-Karlstad?....sorry, got a little carried away.../ Lasse...
