ST harry,
Looking forward to getting an English version....thanks for posting the pics.
I recently had a visit from an old friend from the UK...Mike Moore, who transformed the car he bought from me (72S Martini 'beginning tribute') into an almost unbelievable tribute to #107 from the 73 Targa Florio event. Mike wanted to see my latest projects, so we rolled them out of the shop for a little sunshine where he snapped a pic of me.
It was a wonderful visit, with lots of great memories exchanged. Mike's latest 911 purchase is a Riviera Blue 993.
Outstanding work Gib. You continue to inspire
Thanks for the comment, Nick.
I was asked offline whether the engine lid is aluminum...it is...an original factory unit. It fits like a glove, thanks to John Esposito.
The MFI pump rebuilt by Mark Jung (MFI Werks) arrived today. It is a thing of beauty....
I have seen a copy of your car last weekend ;)

Nice book but I still need to see the DVD included with it, "The Speed Merchants"
Interesting movie. I would have prefered to see more "in car action scenes" but the atmosphere is well described.
Also, this is really strange to see Joakim Bonnier on the grid and then the coverage of his death, a few hours later.
Just returned from attending a hill climb event...Silver Flag... in Vernasca, Italy with Marco, current owner of the original Toad Hall 72 911 ST. Jurgen Barth also attended, and drove the car in the Saturday climb event. I was privileged to ride along with Jurgen Barth in the second round. Michael Keyser put together this montage of pics from the event showing me with Jurgen. Michael did not attend, but used pics from Marco to put together the poster-like picture. It was a fantastic event with approximately 200 vintage cars in attendance.
Gib, that sounds like a fantastic opportunity and a great time. Love the hat!
