LOL. They also picked Savannah Georgia a few years ago when the parking lot for the host hotel (if my memory serves me) in VT wasn't going to be ready . From "temperate" conditions (i.e. PLEASANT) to HELL. Savannah is no fun in the summer either; about 90% RH in the morning. MMMmmm.....not good.
I am going. Not taking an early car this year. Besides my S is no concours car. Love seeing all the early cars at the concours though. Yes it will be hot, but it will be fun- so many great people and lovely Porsches running around.
Daytona got a soaking weekend, so yeah, there are exceptions... we decided to skip Cavallino in January and glad we did. Somethin' like a couple-hunnerd million worth 'o wet Ferraris on the lawn. Horrors!
Seriously though, the state is flush with car shows/concours/driving events in winter, when our weather really is (usually) the best in the country.
Anyway, hope to see some new and familiar faces. Never been to a Parade so not sure what to expect.
It should be very steamy, and I'm not a fan of Boca either, but it's 20 minutes away and I've never been. Hoping to go this year.

Boca in July! Actually Boca at anytime of year is no picnic. The only good news in July is that the number of Lexus' driving 10 miles an hour below the speed limit will be fewer. For those going, have a great time. I'll be enjoying my 911 in the New England mountains and not leaving a puddle of sweat in the car.
