1969 911S Sunroof Coupe Heavily Optioned
1969 Porsche 911S Sunroof Coupe VIN # 119301484 is a very special car with many options. The car has factory electric sunroof and electric
windows. Electric windows did not come on these cars until 1971 and these are factory installed at Porsche as a special order and the
original color on this car was 6861 Beige Metallic and that was also a special order. This 911S coupe also has factory installed limited slip differential and the chrome trim package that goes around the wheel wells. This car has air conditioning and it works well and a original Leistritz Sport Muffler. Headlights are H-4 European option headlamps. Tool kit is present as well as an excellent quality original owners manual. The negative aspects of the car are the color change where the car was originally 6861 Beige Metallic from the Porsche Cardex and has now been painted red and the interior has been redone but it is not stock with later model seats and after market carpet The original interior off the Porsche Cardex on the car was 9824 Letherette. There are a few small dents in the left quarter panel and the hood. The car has not been hit and has the original floor that is in good condition with a minor flaw of a rust spot where the A/C drain comes out the bottom. Close inspection of the inner panels and wheel wells shows no previous wreck damage or repairs and the chassis on the car is a good straight chassis. The mechanicals of the car are excellent and the motor #6392078 fires right up with the hand throttle pulled and there is no smoking either cold or hot and everything is all there and all original. The transmission #7198785 shifts well and has a short shift kit installed on the shift linkage and you can feel the pull of the limited slip when starting out in a tight turn. The motor and transmission are the original ones to the car. The car has the Koni "911S" front struts with aluminum brake calipers and Koni rear Shocks. The car has Fuchs alloy wheels that are in good condition with the 5th wheel a Fuchs alloy also as a spare. Tires are new now and have about 5 miles on
them. Radio has been replaced with a Blaupunkt AM/FM Cassette. Front trunk carpet is nice and the windshield washer bottle and all components of it are present. Mechanicals on the car are excellent and with a new interior and paint this would be a stunning early 911S as it has all the options. Reduced to $43500

1969 S electric windows revisited

Here are pictures of the inside of the door panel showing correct factory installation of the earliest electric windows in my 1969 911S #119301484. Notice buss bar and early switches and the large square window motor. Watch those switches though, the hot wire is powered at all times and touch that puppy to the door and you will get a shower of sparks. Also note the Beige metallic 6861 paint on the back side of the door. I have been looking everywhere to see what the color looked like and there it is!! I think it will actually look good with the 9824 leatherette (Fawn color?) Interior. So it looks like this is a special order car as far as paint and windows go as I cannot find Beige Metallic in the early paint example books from Porsche. Thanks Joe
