Took our 1965 911 (matching #'s, no wrecks, owned for 31 years, bought stock, was a serious track rat from '01-'05, AX and GTG's now) to the RMR PCA AX east of Denver. We had our '07 Cayman S for the AX but during lunch we unloaded her from the trailer and threw her around the AX together and with some guests. What a blast!!! First time she's been to a driving event since 2010 at and AX at the same location. Every time someone makes us a ridiculous offer we turn them down, she's family and will be with us until we can't drive a manual any longer!Attachment 489409

I shipped Heidi (my ‘69 911S) off to Automobile Associates in Canton, CT for a complete strip & repaint in its original color of Polo Red. An earlier repaint in 1990 was failing badly. I already miss the old girl...

Lead a drive of a few of my P-car friends from my place (West San Fernando Valley) to the Santa Barbara Polo Fields … Through the back roads of course...;)
Ended up for GREAT lunch at The Honor Bar in Montecito... then back home the same way... ;)
