Further pics of design from a month ago , rough form heading to measurement expansion to match core and % requirement to match shrinkage during pour . welding flange reduction also
Update ; the threaded ends for oil line attachment are machined out of solid ali billet , threaded top and bottom . The idea is that we have made the top thickness at the mount location on the reservoir 8mm thick , we indend to thread the ends into the reservoir top then tig weld around the base giving real guts to the fitting and security when buttoning up the oil lines now and in future .
John,
Any idea when these will be available? Annie might need one! thx
working hard on them , but the day job has taken up alot of time and i am just heading off to aussie barra fishing for 10 days .
i believe i should have the correct first cast ( we have done casts and tweeked the cad and recast a few times ) by june 25 and put together by july1 for trial .
Hi John,
I sent you an email inquiring on some of your new parts.
Thanks,
Out of interest does everyone interested want both fitting sizes (69 /70 and 72/73 ) available or has everyone migrated over the the larger sizes ?
