Hi All,
Looks like the new-to-me 1971 911T does not have a dash speaker (or at least does not have a speaker grill). Is this possible/correct?

Thanks in advance!

They came all with the speaker cover version even if the car came without a speaker
I understand that Porsche sold replacement dash pads without a speaker cover back in the 1980’s...my car has one also.
Yep..... I got one in 1990... still thereQuote:

The dash pad without speaker grilles or speaker perforations is a 1976-only part. But I've used it in hot rods, since there are a couple less places for cracks to propagate. There are now repro versions.
Trivia: I believe the 76 dash was the first one offered by the factory in colors other than black. Tan for sure.
My 73 had one as well......just replaced it as I wanted a speaker that worked , so had to come out and while at it new
Dash.
Also my 76 version dash is available , it has no cracks or flaws , excellent condition.
PM me if interested .
