'bout time the 912s start catching up.
whats surprising is there are a lot of items that are incorrect on this one. i was thinking 30s, not 50s because of this, so thats what got me. still a good car, and a great price (for those who own). though, the targa (especially swt) will always get higher prices than coupes..
The presentation by the sellers was excellent. That goes a long way towards solidifying a large dollar deal and assuaging the guilt when you have to tell your wife you just dropped 50 large on a 44 year old car....
true.. TONS of documentation which is excellent. very clean, straight and honest car despite anything being incorrect.
This deal P***es me off, and gets me excited at the same time. I can't believe that what I'd consider an excellent driver level car could bring 50k - especially a '68. Wow. I'm in awe of the California Classix sales shpiel.
many items originally on the car are missing, it's got wrong door panels and rear seats. I don't think you could show this at a concours event with any seriousness.
Makes me really happy, though, for the future value of my Irish green '67 - a much nicer car than this one.
I so agree. Romance sold this color changed car. We'll see if it actualy sells...
...bidding is above $62k for a '67 at Schmitt in St Louis.

Actually zero bids. $62k is the starting bid. Further down the ad is a stated "buy it now" of $59.9k
Looks nice at a glance.
