Looks like a "Sugar Bear" front end. The only way to get a stable handling "no flop" bike when forks are lengthened. Thanks for the pictures.

I dropped off my ‘68L for some body and paint work to get done over the winter and spent a few minutes drooling over some of their beautifully restored cars ..... I particularly like the Sunbeam Alpine at the end (isn’t that the car the Bond drove in the chase scene in the hills of Kingston, Jamaica in “Dr No”?). Enjoy the pics, I had to wipe up a small pool of drool off the fender of the Jag after staring at it :)
