BaT Description:
This 1969 Porsche 911T is a factory sunroof-equipped car that was reportedly sold new to a member of the DuPont family and received via the European Delivery program. The seller states that he purchased this car from the original owner seven years ago, and subsequently had it restored over a 5-year period. Originally finished in Cocoa Brown, the car was repainted in Signal Orange, and the interior was also refreshed as detailed below. The 2.0L flat-six was rebuilt with S pistons/cylinders and E camshafts, and the 5-speed manual transaxle was also rebuilt with new synchros. Work on the suspension, brakes, and other systems was also completed, and approximately 1k miles have been added over the past seven years. This Porsche is now offered with restoration-related receipts, European Delivery paperwork, a warranty booklet, Blaupunkt radio manuals, a dealer catalog, 2-volume repair manual set, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.
During the repaint process the car was reportedly stripped to bare metal, and existing rocker panel rust was cut out and replaced with new metal. The color was changed from Cocoa Brown to Signal Orange, and new rubber body seals were fitted at the same time. The H4 headlights were also refurbished and fitted with new relays.
During the restoration, new Koni shocks and bushings were fitted, while several other suspension components were powder coated. The 14″ Fuchs alloy wheels were fitted with new Pirelli CN36 tires, including the full-sized spare in the front trunk. Brake calipers were rebuilt by PMB Performance in Utah. Two new Interstate batteries have also been installed.
Inside, the cabin received a new headliner, dashboard, door panel map pockets, new carpeting from Autobahn Interiors, and a Scheel sport bucket driver’s seat. The passenger seat was reupholstered, and the original Recaro driver’s seat accompanies the sale. Additional work included rebuilding the pedal assembly and restoring the 4-spoke steering wheel. The odometer indicates 63k miles, approximately 1k of which have been driven by the seller over seven years of ownership.
When the 2.0L flat-six was being rebuilt, the seller had S pistons/cylinders and E camshafts fitted, along with a new Dansk muffler and stainless steel heat exchangers. The engine fan was restored, the Weber carburetors were rebuilt, and a new fuel tank was fitted. The 5-speed manual transaxle was concurrently rebuilt with new synchros. An engine-rebuild sheet is included, along with additional invoices related to the 5-year restoration process.
Documentation, factory manuals, and other materials included in the sale.

BaT Description:
This 1972 Porsche 911T is a Sportomatic coupe that was modified by a previous owner with a 3.2-liter flat-six and Carrera-style bodywork including replacement fenders, doors, and other panels as well as impact bumpers and a rear spoiler. The seller purchased the car as a non-running project in 2006 and states that it has been off the road since 2003. The engine does not run but turns over by hand, while rust in the pan and body is detailed below. This 911T is offered with a set of Weber downdraft carburetors, an uninstalled Type 915 5-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt in 2004, a written history from a previous owner, and clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.
Steel rear flares and late-model front fenders were reportedly installed in the mid-1980s along with a 911SC front end, hood, and doors. The car also features impact bumpers, updated taillights, Euro-style Bosch H1 headlights, and a rear spoiler. A repaint in metallic purple under gold Carrera graphics was carried out following the body modifications. Dents and rust are viewable in the gallery below. The car was originally painted Silver Metallic (936). Later plastic sideview mirrors have been fitted in place of the single chrome original. The car will come with the 16″x7″ and 16″x9″ Fuchs replica wheels and older Goodyear Eagle tires. The smaller Fuchs-style wheels and Yokohama tires seen in the garage are not included in the sale.
The interior was modified in the 1980s with a leather-wrapped lower dashboard, matching door panels, and purple gauges. Photos of the floor pan are provided in the gallery below. The tachometer and speedometer were reportedly recalibrated by Hollywood Speedometer in the 1980s and the 5-digit odometer shows 68k miles, with total chassis mileage unknown. Rust in the front pan area.
The 3.2-liter flat-six is stamped 64E00819 and was reportedly installed in the late 1980s. The engine is shown to turn over by hand, but has not been run under current ownership. The 4-speed Type 925 Sportomatic semi-automatic transaxle features a conventional H-gate and an automatic clutch. There is driveline, suspension, SSI heat exchangers, and underside corrosion.
A Type 915 5-speed manual transmission was rebuilt by Chris’s German Auto Service of Bellevue, Washington, in 2004 and is included in the sale along with dual Weber 46 IDA downdraft carburetors, a pedal cluster, and various other parts. Documentation from a previous owner describes work performed from the mid to late 1980s prior to an extended period of storage.

BaT Description:
This 1971 Porsche 911T coupe was acquired by its late owner in 1999 in California and remained with him in the state for 20 years. Finished in Bahia Red over black leatherette, the car is powered by a 2.2-liter flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. A Perma-Tune ignition has been added along with oil-fed chain tensioners, and service in March 2019 included a new fuel filter, flushing the brake fluid, and installing new tires. This 911T is now offered on behalf of the late owner’s estate with an owner’s manual, a factory radio and speaker, and a clean California title. The body is finished in Bahia Red (1313), and a professional detailing commissioned in March 2019 included buffing and polishing the paint and polishing the chrome brightwork. Paintwork is believed to have been carried out at the front and rear of the car at some point previously. Areas noted to show corrosion are pictured in the photo gallery. 15” Fuchs alloys wear Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that were mounted in March 2019. The car is equipped with a factory electric sunroof.
The cabin is trimmed in black leatherette with charcoal carpets, and the interior was detailed in March 2019. A newer Blaupunkt radio is installed in the dash, though the stock Blaupunkt AM/FM radio and center speaker are included with the sale. The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 70k miles, 20k of which were added during the late owner’s 20 years with the car.
The 2.2-liter 911/07 flat-six is mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle, and oil pressure-fed timing chain tensioners have been added along with Perma-Tune electronic ignition. Service in March 2019 following a year of storage included siphoning out the fuel and refilling the tank with 10 gallons of 100 octane gasoline, as well as installing a new fuel filter, flushing the brake fluid, checking the oil, and replacing the heating duct ventilation hoses. The seller notes the carburetors would benefit from a rebushing. Included are an owner’s manual, a factory jack, and the removed radio and speaker.

BaT Description:
This 1970 Porsche 911T Targa reportedly stayed in California from new until the mid-1990s, and was acquired by the seller in Kentucky a year ago after 25 years with an employee of Porsche North America. The car is finished in Light Ivory over black leatherette, and power comes from a numbers-matching 2.2-liter flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Chain tensioner and exhaust upgrades have been performed, and service under current ownership reportedly included refurbishing the targa top, installation of a new muffler, heat exchangers, and ignition components as well as an oil change. This Targa is offered with a Porsche Production Specifications certificate, blue California license plates, a partial tool kit, and a clean Kentucky title.
The seller notes that several driver-quality repaints in original Light Ivory (11) have been carried out through the years. Blemishes include areas of uneven finish as well as rust bubbling at the headlight bezels, hood weatherstripping, and rear corners. Close-up photos of the trim, paint, and bubbling can be seen in the gallery photos. Polished and black 15″ Fuchs wheels replace the factory-equipped steel wheels. The targa-top was recently recovered according to the seller, and the car wears blue 6-digit California license plates front and rear.
The interior features black leatherette upholstery with matching door panels, and a Blaupunkt cassette radio is installed in the dash. The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 2k miles, with the total believed by the seller to be 102k.
The 2.2-liter flat-six features upgraded chain tensioners according to the seller. Work in the past year is said to have included a fuel system inspection as well as a tune-up with a new distributor cap, rotor, ignition points, and spark plugs. The engine reportedly smokes at start-up. A 5-speed manual transaxle routes power to the rear wheels. A new muffler and heat exchangers have been fitted under current ownership. The Porsche Production Specifications certificate lists the production date, optional equipment, and engine and transmission numbers. Engine stamping #6109404 matches the Porsche Production Specifications certificate.

All five wheels have been mounted with new 185/70 series Pirelli CN36 tires. The M&K 911S muffler features twin central outlets as pictured above.
Inside, the factory black leatherette front seats were removed and replaced with a pair of GTS Classics sport seats trimmed in perforated black leather with houndstooth inserts. The factory rear seats are now fitted with leather luggage straps. Additional modifications include removing the radio, a double-wrapped leather 380mm RS-style steering wheel, an aluminum shift linkage cover, and a short shifter. The odometer indicates 13,600 miles, with total mileage unknown.
The 2.4-liter flat-six is mated to a 915 transaxle and recently received work on the CIS injection system according to the seller. The seller has completed a compression check, with results for each cylinder provided. This 911T was dyno tested, with the accompanying report indicating peaks of 114 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The seller has provided photos of various factory markings throughout the vehicle. Engine #6134142 and transaxle #7337400 are original to this car according to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Factory manuals and a series of records pertaining to the recent work accompany the sale. The CoA states that this 911T was completed in March 1973 finished in Light Ivory over black leatherette. Removed components include both front seats, a 4-spoke steering wheel, lenses, bumperettes, horn grilles, a single-exit muffler, and more.
