10 years.
Then they go into an archive offsite that we charge a minimum of $300 an hour just to search. That's when we typically lose the nostalgic looky loos.
Time machines are expensive.

Found a number for Bud on an old bill from him. will try to contact him, but he has been closed for a long time. He will remember my cars but may not still have records on them. Drew a picture for him in the late 70s that he kept on his desk till he closed his shop, probably lost business because of it, LOL.
Triggering memories is the best, like picking up my white 914 from the factory in Osnabruek, driving ten miles down the highway and passing a white 914/6 police car. Holy sh*t Batman!
