. . . 'Fin' cars . . .
Not exactly my taste. My Grampa was a Mopar Guy, though --- owned a coupla fin-cars . . . Imperials, De Sotos as I remember. Later Plymouths and Dodges. He'd 've gotten a real kick outta these. That Caddie --- the Series 62 . . . was invisible, even Back Then . . .
. . . unless it was in a parade

Zovig puts up with all my car stuff. There was some 'mid-century modern' furniture scattered around the place --- contemporary w/ the cars, I suppose, + functional . . . one of the docents even encouraged us to sit in 'em . . .
. . . to which Zovig promptly obliged
Comfortable enough, maybe . . . but looks like pool furniture = meh

The Chevy? . . . looks cheap. Brightwork everywhere outside, and inside? --- vinyl + some weird/woven meshy stuff on the seats, busy-busy dash + details --- feels like all the 'style' action was trying to make up for something
But those Caddies? --- kinda in the same vein, in some ways, but? . . .
. . . I've never seen that much leather on my side of a barbed-wire fence in my life. Both those cars would be a treat just to sit/sink into those seats, then fire-up some Sinatra + go oozing down a beachfront boulevard. Just need a garage big enough to dock that beast . . . and enough time + hide food to keep all that leatherage soft + pliant
Then/again --- isn't that what grankids are for? . . . toiling over their potential inheritance?
But I digress. This is the kinda car I'd let Zovig drive --- while I sit back/relax . . . burn a Phat One
Ashes out the side. And don't even think about putting anything in that ash tray
