64 65 super early wire type door latch and mechanism passenger

I’ve only seen a couple of these things, the early 64-65 latch with the wire rods instead of aluminum. Interesting to see the evolution. The latch is dated 2/65.

very rare in deed---and even more rare with the plastic clips that have been used for a very short period..seen only once on 450007

The plastic clips resemble a 914-6 part that holds the fuel rail on the firewall to the carbs, also a VW part so possible to replace it.
