There seem to be a lot of RS cars on the market today. I find that when the market gets glutted with specific rarities, that the consensus has been reached that the market has peaked; those who own inventory with the desire to sell want to get out.
Admittedly, the RS market has reached an altitude that few can touch, afforing it the status it long warranted. Yet, how much higher can it go in terms of fast growth apprecaition as it has in recent years? It will be interesting to look back in two years and see if this glut is an anomaly or a harbinger of things to come in terms of vintage Porsche values.
BTW, wasn't this car for sale out of Germany six months ago?
Been for sale for at least 3.5 years I know of as Konrdasheim was trying to flog it when I bought mine
Clyde,
You are right about the Konradsheim connection and the photo even shows the car from when he owned it (look at the license plate size) but the ad says the car was in Alabama (listed as sold). Kind of weird.
