If you don't care about "teeth" on the transaction utilize "friends and family". Free.
Agree. BUT
PayPal is useless for timely arbitration. They get the float on your money while playing all sorts of "what if" games. For that reason I use a credit card with TEETH linked to the account.
EG: A Pelican seller attempted to take advantage of my good nature a few years ago on a "working CIS system".
It was later re-listed on Pelican (again) with the cracked airbox and all the other boogers, claiming it was a working system. "It was" were the key words.
BTW; here's a picture of "factory Porsche" grinding marks (his words, not mine). For those who don't know, that is where a "boss" resided.
The "carefully packaged" box it arrived in.
The return shipping was "the tuition" for this ordeal.:o
Ouch Tom.
so...
Anyone know anything about TransferWise?
Frank,
I've been using transferwise for more than 2 years for both business and personal international transactions. 7-figures in payments annually and no issues whatsoever. Great service, simple interface, and signficant savings over the self-serving exchange rates that banks/paypal use for international wires.
Give them a shot. I think you'll be pleased.
Splendid.
Thanks John.
Happy to help.
Look at Square Cash. Free payment/transfer system app. Square is the baby of Jack Dorsey CEO of Twitter and Square. Most know Square as the company that supplied a card swipe attachment for smart phones but they are in the money moving business among many other things. The responsibility of not getting burned is on the user, just like it should be, not some 3rd party to interface with your bad choices of who and how you transfer money for goods and services.
