Anyone have anything good / bad to say about these ohlins / KW kits for the early 911?
I'm looking for a sorted setup mainly for fast road and advice so far has been to check these out.
Cheers

No? Ok any recommendations for a 69T for best upgrade for fast road/track?
Why not use Konis or Bilsteins? The ohlins have a great reputation but are VERY expensive.
What size torsion bars are you using? What size roll bars? What bushings are you using, poly or rubber?
I think there is a large knowledge base here that can help you but you have to give up some information so that suggestions can be made.
I run the Ohlins on my SCR, that is used for fast road, competition tarmac tour and track events
They are adjustable enough to be supple on the road, and really work well on circuit, I can highly recommend them
Hi, thanks for your response. As I am at the very start of this project roll bars, bushings and torsion bars have not yet been chosen as I want to ensure they work well as a group. I have always run Ohlins on my bikes and heard it was a big improvement on stock for the early 911 but just wanted to see what people thought.
This thread may be useful to you... http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...-911-by-OHLINS
Most of the sets we have sold have been adjustable front and rear, although we also offer a non-adjustable rear version, but the cost saving is small, I guess it depends on regulations if used for racing
We sell Bilstein dampers alongside the Ohlins, but if your budget will allow, there is no comparison.
I think it's well documented that I run coil-over springs on my car, but they work very well with Torsion bars too
I thought I responded. Sorry. I have Ohlins on my 72 911. My shop is TLG. Recommend you ping Marco.
Lifting this old thread to see if there more running the KWs now 8 years later?
I ordered a set the other day and should have them in a month or so.
The car they’re going on has 19/26mm torsion bars and ERs RSR sway bars
