i am realy not sure if my gearbox is the correct type for my 911 number 302338 from spetember 1965

i havent nadella,the gear box work great,but i tihnk is 67-71 901 gear box

It is a mag case 901 you can tell by the side cover.So it would not be correct for your car. Looks like someone painted it silver to mimic an aluminum look. The difference in the side covers are the aluminum ones just have the ribs running out from the center. The mag have the ribs but the ring half way down. If this make any sense.

My very late 66 is 231795 ...... and next to the transmission # is 902/1..Check yours to see what other # is there.Should be easy since yours is so clean....902/1= 1966-67 911 5 speed. example, a 902/0 is a 4 speed same years. With the 9xx/xx it can be determined easier.. Regards,Cliff

I am enough deçu that my gearbox is not in accordance, but I wonder if this gear is more resistante than origin?this is the gear box of 2.2 i think?

It is lighter than the earlier aluminum & has ,unless modified a different clutch operation...
