Good question! They're at the upholstery shop being done in leather, they were in vinyl before and had been repaired poorly. Will be back in the car soon.Quote:

IMHO, the best "Sport Seat" from the era was made from '74-'80. They reshaped the bottom bolsters in '81 and also re-designed the side bolsters. Easier ingress-egress.
Photo shows why the '74-'80 are the tightest fitting of anything from '74-'89. When you're in, you are (locked) IN.;)

This is just a question, not a critique, being that you have a more powerful engine in your car why no need for a duck tail spoiler?
I like "under the radar". My '74 isn't at all stock. It just looks like it. ;)

Truth is, I took very few photos, was too busy driving over 8 or 9 passes, with the highlight being independence pass, with very light traffic, it was simply stellar.

The reason I asked about the rear spoiler is based on Porsche added the ducktail spoiler for a reason (performance), which then grew to a whale tail. These tails were not for show they served a purpose/function. I will admit that I do like the clean tear drop lines of your car, I just wanted to know your though process of not adding one with the more powerful engine.
To sithot, I don't think you're under the radar with CARRERA written large on both sides of the car:D
Mainly wanted to stick with all of the original steel body panels (exception being the steel Carrera flares welded on) in this restoration and my general preference is for 911s w/o a rear wing e.g. my RS America with the wing removed. Also an interesting chart from the Carrera RS book by Thomas Gruber and Georg Konradsheim. Front and rear wing + 4.5 kph or 2.79 mph.
