I keep getting asked about the "new" Webers being made in Spain. I've heard a few comments but typically you hear the negative stories over the good ones so I do not really know what the general consensus regarding these new Webers is.
Any first hand info would be nice to know.
I know that VGS the german importer sends ~15% back and reworks the 85% they accept
No negative from me, works well and haven’t faund any issues at all. Just adjusted them (fuel level etc) this morning. Many thanks for excellent info what you have about adjustmenys in your webpages Paul!
ONLY what I would accept to replace them would be fully (shafts etc) rebuild original ones like you do Paul. Carbs, like other parts, do wear over time.
I do have my original carbs as well but but prefer new ones. (Works fine and look more correct than PMOs)
This was regarding new 40’s, I do have new 46’s as well waiting for hot rod engine.
