BIG Shout & Thumbs Up out to Pat, Howie, Jeff and the Luft Team for today’s event!
WOW - very, very cool venue, with every Porsche virtually having it’s own back-drop. Porsches hiding around corners, tucked down alleyways. A wonderful anniversary tribute to the 914s. Loved the storyline app for each display car. A very special event!
But .... as a number of us discussed - how the hell are you going to top this one for Luftgekuhlt next year???
Can’t wait! I’ll be coming back again - all the way from New Zealand!

Apart from the amazing Luft venues, the thing that impresses me most about the Luftgekuhlt events is the broad demographic it attracts. Particularly last year and this year, there were lots of younger people (Millennials and Gen Zs) both sexes represented almost equally and all of them enthused with the early Porsches that were there.
Was it the "cool factor", their interest in the history, the fact that their parents or grandparents had owned one? Whatever it was/is - it made me happy because these are the people who will own, and continue the passion for, our cars in the future. I hope we can encourage more of them to attend aircooled events and ultimately join our Registry.

I could not have picked a better person for the MOMO 935 when I sold it last year. It has been great to watch it compete on track and looking forward to seeing it run at Monterey

I sold it to the previous owner. Five years later he asked me a to find a new home for it and was happy one of the gentleman in our group wanted it so I arranged the sale.
