Thanks for posting; an interesting result!
'. . . given to Corina Piech, the daughter of Ferdinand Piech, Chairman of Porsche Automobile Holdings and Volkswagen AG.
Brutus was built by the factory with many special options including the 2.9-liter RSR factory race motor, special body work and wheels, 100-liter RSR plastic fuel tank and custom interior.
Corina Piech drove Brutus for 6 years and sold the car to an American military Colonel stationed in Germany. The car was later imported to the U.S. where it remained with the Colonel until his passing. Brutus was sold and stored for many years until purchased by the current owner . . .'

Hm
After the plant holidays in 1970, a 914/6 was rebuilt into a super sports car prototype. Equipped with many racing parts, such as flairs, sports suspension, fiberglass parts and a 2.6-liter engine, the car would have trumped a Dino 246, for example. Other modifications included an additional front oil cooler, the stronger gearbox from the new 911, a fixed steel roof for body rigidity and an upgraded interior.
The car was delivered in February 1971 to Ferdinand Piech and driven enthusiastically by his wife Corina until 1974

I guess I get the mix-up. Ol' FP does have 12 kids between 4 wives --- including two Corinas . . . so . . .
Car used to be a bit more sinister, too --- all-black wheels . . .
. . . just the car for Daddy's Little Girl
.........
i was a bit sticker shocked by the split window 356 coupe that sold at retro for almost the same amount. 900k range. Also a bit of a chick car, just like the above I guess....
Re: "Brutus". This was used by the then-wife. Daughter Corina was a tad youg to play with this.
