Native TEXAN (sort of) staying home
This Ft Worth delivered 1972S was originally ordered at the factory through Max Moritz. It will be staying in the DFW area for the foreseeable future as I recently acquired it as its third caretaker, its second having had it since late 1973. This will forever be Charlie's car since at my current age I would have to own it till I was 108 to have it for a longer period. Plus Charlie built a RGruppe car before anyone had thought of a RGruppe of even before there was much of a hot rod culture for Porsche 911's. In '76-'77 Charlie had Ed Mayo build the 2.8 MFI motor on the original case while Charlie added the ST flairs and 7&9" Fuchs. These documents are better than a COA in my mind, especially given the quality of the information on many COA's recently.
